CALLING ALL POETS! I am looking for four haiku poems that capture the essence of the theme presence and absence. This theme is based on the unspoken language of Braille as both its embossed and flat nature are required for comprehending this tactile form of communication.

These four poems will become wall installations in the Moon typeface, an embossed font designed in 1845 for those who became blind later in life. The installations will be shown with a body of work that is currently in progress.

Two sighted and two Blind/low vision poets will receive an honorarium of $100.00 each for their selected poems.
