In Fall 2024, I had the privilege of traveling to Maussane-les-Alpilles, France to spend two weeks at a beautifully renovated olive mill to hike the surrounding areas, take in a multi-sensory experience of the land and culture, find inspiration from international contemporary and historical exhibitions in the region, and to work on expanding my SIGHT-specific series, which will become a tactile and auditory interactive display of monotype prints from the locations I visited. Some photos below can be seen as prints in my SIGHT-specific series.
I would like to thank the Canada Council for the Arts for funding this inspirational excursion.
